game at edinburg paintball battleground

Hello everyone jan 14 we will be having a game at the new field. Edinburg paintball battleground.. They have given us first run on the field... they will have food there for sale . fajitas tacos plates drinks ect.. we will have several games planed feel free to jump in with game ideas.. i know core wanted to play some rescue games . this field will have something for everyone.. let us know who is in ... who will join us.. they have agreed on a ten dollar entrance fee .. starting from 10.00 am all day.. come join us.

This sounds good Ruthless but i think should first meet us Captains to discuss important matters before we try doing something big.

so i just spoke to the owner of the field and they will have the lights up and ready by saturday .. so that means we can stay and have some night games, missions ect.. also they will have food for sale there.. so if any one wants to eat there.. also they might even have bbs there for sale.. drinks ect.. we have several guys coming from courpus and san antonio .. some from kingsville lets go out there and have a great time .. we will be using a3 rules we will have a saftey briefing prior to starting a game..

Is this a BOA op that is open to the public or is this open to the public in general?

this is open to everyone and anyone that wants to play ... we are just sending the invite to all those that want to play and have safe fun.. and try out the new field before anyone else..

I got some friends from Kingsville as well...so its going to be a great game...ill bring some props to make the game more interesting...ohh and if its open to all airsofter and not an event we can mix up the rules a bit...Nothing against A3 but we would like to play by our own rules from time to time.

A 3 rules will be use at this event. You can add more safety rules but not take any out. We will have several people there. Young and old. Safety is of the most important. we will have refs on the field. We will have a safety brief before the games.you were more than welcome to bring up any rule change at the briefing. And we can all vote there. As adults and captains.CQB/ MOUT Rules; During strictly indoor games where full auto fire from AEGs is allowed the velocity limit is 350fps. During games that are both indoor and outdoor and weapons of higher velocity will be used upon approval. Only semi-auto fire should be allowed from AEGs inside of structures. Support and sniper weapons should not be fired at players when both players are inside a structure in close proximity period. A player is considered inside of a structure the moment that any part of their body breaks the plane of the inside of a structure. (MSD 5ft, with attention to shot placement to torso or legs)The exception since this is outdoor and indoor will be full auto 350 and under like stated above and semi auto indoor with special attention to shot placement and anything 351-400fps is strictly semi auto only

That sounds fair. How about all the Captains get together and have this long delayed meeting that Black Diamond has been requesting for the longest time BEFORE any games start and have a discussion like adults.

i agree with aggressive, the captains should plan to be there before the start of the games to have "the meeting" thats been passed around for some time. this is the perfect opportunity for it

Im good with withe rule set...The reason I ask is so you can post them up and safety is always an issue so by stating the FPS limits we can MAKE SURE EVERYONE is shooting at regulation speeds. So don't forget them CHRONO'S and ill volunteer to help with that part.

You got that right, delayed and ignored i would say Agressive cause i never got a reply about tinbut it is more than convenient we have that meeting cause we are supposed to be all participants of a friendly sport and RESPECTFULLy Environment. i agree with kal about mix the rules cause not all of us are part of the same community and exactly it is an Open event so it has to be fair for all of us ClIENTS. NO MED – 300 FPS and below

• 10 ft. MED – 301-350 FPS

• 20 ft. MED – 351-400 FPS

• 50 Ft. MED – 401-450 FPS

• 100 ft. MED – 451-550 FPS
THIS WILL BE THE MINIMAL ENGAGEMENT DISTANCE DEPENDING ON YOUR FPS..
SINGLE SHOT INSIDE BUILDINGS AND DEPENDING FPS.

I agree with Black Diamond, Not all of us are from the same community and don't share the same rules, I believe we should mix it up
rules in and out

I think we can all agree that the required minimum engagement distances, as posted by Ruthless, according to the FPS of your weapon is reasonable and safe. These rules should not be modified for the sake of safety.

Ok, I want to make sure that captains and everyone takes note of this. We need to stop saying "we are not part of the same community" because we are. We are all players of airsoft. Just because you play with different rules and play with certain teams more than others DOES NOT mean we are in separate communities. We need to stay united and always remember we are all in this for the love of the sport. The MED rules should stay for the sake of safety and if you want to add rules to a certain game then that makes sense, but let's not be reckless and go into a game and change the rules so you can go full auto 400fps indoors. If we change rules to certain games make sure you keep safety in mind and they are thoroughly explained to all participants. See you all Saturday.
