Airsoft Zombie Op

Anyone up to Host a zombie Op?

Why dont we all get together and host a huge zombie op so every team has a part.. we can do a 2 or three story line .. play one role and then play a different role that a different team came up with that way all day event will be challenging . Each team can come up with there own story line if you want and roles for players. everything will be up to the teams that take part in this .. sniper roles and civilian roles/ with no weapons .. but weapons would be given to them once other players get to them if they have extra.. AGAIN WE CAN DO THIS ALL TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY.. POST UP WHAT YOU THINK.

Yeah Exactly. force on force, is fun but I want to do something different, especially with Halloween coming up. Every team, could have it's story and the game could be during the day or even at night. Zombies can have melee weapons, and civilians have to locate the military forces to survive

you come up with a good story line for us with missions . and we can start from there.

Alight so the Rio Grand Valley has been infected with a new zombie virus known as H1Z1, an aggressive form of the Swine Flu, which causes victims to be filled with uncontrollable rage, and strength. In order to survive civilians begin creating alliances to defend themselves, and their home town.



There will be two factions.
1.Civilians - Wear causal everyday clothes, have weapons of any kind guns, foam bats, and swords.



2. U.S Special Forces - Military camo, boots, khaki pants, have rifles, and even knifes or axes



3. Zombies- Zombies cannot shoot or show fear. Zombies can run throughout the game. zombies are allowed to use melee weapons such as foam swords, or hatchets. The only way to kill a zombie is to shoot it in the chest three or more times. If you are touched/tagged by a zombie, you must wait two minutes and respond as a new zombie



Each team will be separated from the other, but throughout the game they must find a way to unite and work together as a team to survive.

The U.S Military have responded to the situation and are faced with several objectives.
1. Find the antidote - Several people in both factions have been exposed to the virus, but have not yet turned. Teams must locate an antidotes for each pre-exposed victim for the first ten minutes of the game. No one on both teams know who the exposed victim is, except for the victim himself. The victim could be anywhere and anyone. If the victims aren't given the antidote before the ten minute time limit, then they will turn into zombies and instantly begin killing/infecting everyone around them. If the antidote is found, the victim must drink it completely and will stay a human for the rest of the game, unless they are killed at some point.

2. Find scientist- A scientist will be hidden throughout the game. Soldiers/civilians must work together to locate the scientist under twenty minutes. The scientist is the worlds only hope of finding a cure to the virus. Once scientist is found factions must defend the scientist and keep him alive at all cost. If scientist is not found, he will become a super zombie, capable of stealing weapons and taking more damage.

3. Evacuate - For the remainder of the game factions must survive incoming zombies, while defending the scientist until the last ten minutes of the game, where everyone must move to a certain location, or vehicle to be extracted. Once in the area / vehicle, player must survive for the remainder of the game or die trying.

that sounds great ... anyone else interested in this.. was thinking on a date either oct 20 or 27 .. what do you all think.. this will give everyone time to plan ahead.. and git any extras you might want.. again lets try to make this a community event so everyone has a part and we all make this a great event.. wht do you all think Captains.. please post up if you want to be a part of this or sit this out.. Sounds Awesome, But where would such an event take place?

Right off the bat I'm gonna say this is half my suggestions, and half of the concept for an OP in Harwood that CORE went to:

You guys could even go as far as letting the infection "spread" by starting with one person as the zombie. He is given a small piece of paper indicating that he is infected without anyone else knowing, and maybe set a delayed timer, lets say two minutes in, he can start tagging the people he is with without them knowing what the heck is going on. This keeps everyone on their toes and makes it more intense. If you guys want to make it really interesting this should be an all day and night thing with zombie forces increasing as the day goes on. Also, ammo limitation is always fun (with hidden dead drops located throughout the field or care packages dropped off at a certain site. If the area isn't cleared of zombies in time the care package will be rescheduled for the next available time. This of course is just a suggestion. This can also incorporate the use of vehicles, not as a main event but as a supporting feature.) To make this fun, both survivors and zombies need objectives, not just zombies cause then people get bored and leave. What kills zombie games is that they are predictable and survivors aren't really surviving if they are able to unload a full hicap on a single zombie. Feel free to expand on this if you like, I for one have seen how well a zombie game can turn out if planned out correctly. As for the location, the field south of the airport where our team use to play seems like the best bet. It has most of the things the game needs: woods, buildings, and large open spaces for roaming around.

Edit: Another cool idea could be that after every 30 minutes, the zombies can "evolve". For example, start of with tagging, then melee weapons, then pistols, then rifles, and finally the abilty to drive vehicles. This way you balance the amount of time to are a zombie and have a weapon. Also like in videogames you have different types of zombies on the field.

Sorry guys have been a lil busy with family issues. But I think this would be a great idea. I'll see what I can come up with to make this game better. Keep adding on guys. Great job

house , those are great ideas.. i like everything all of those ideas are great.. now we just need to plan it correctly . again everyone this is a community event so lets all do our part.. ratt great to here you want be a zombie first.. great job.. now we all need to agree on location and plan storyline correct and missions for everyone including zombies and ammo locations . we need to plan where to place small maps so players can find to know where the ammo will be . instead of just running around to where the ammo is .. also a great idea would be to have admins place the ammo in different locations to make it harder .. this way you dont know if you location will have ammo or not.. happy hunting. let continue this and plan ahead . oh and as for the date what date do you all think would be better. oct 20 or 27 . post up

we are starting to get many players that are willing to attend.. now we need to agree on a good field that will have a little of everything and also to accommodate us at nightgame. we would need some light to travel safe. Most important we need a ring leader.. We need to vote on a person to run the show to many chiefs hurts the event.. we need one person to take charge and run the show. Everyone else would be helpers .. I nominate Kal he always seems to be an top of his game.. what do you all think.
As for the field that we chose lets make sure it is insured just encase some one gets hurt we are all covered .. This is to protect everyone and the sport

Guys I apriciate the offer to lead a zombie event cuz you guys know that's one of my favorite games. I don't mind at all. Just do plan to have this game after or before bikefest or Horrorcon. Both events will slow us down. I'm also gonna try to get my new dune bug up and running so we can really have some vehicle mayhem. Everyone take advantage of the haloween sales and get your self a zombie mask you can carry around.

As for location I'm not really sure. More then likely it will be between Woodlands or the Moto track.

Btw let's call that field the Drop Zone. Cuz it's right over the airport.

when do your events take place. lets plan this for the 27th of October . as for location i think woodlands would be the ideal place to handle allot of players plus it has some light for a night game.. and its insured. post what you all think..

AND MOST IMPORTANT WHO WILL BE ATTENDING.. WE HAVE SEVERAL PLAYERS ALREADY BUT LIKE ALWAYS THE MORE PLAYER ON THE FIELD THE BETTER THE EVEN. YOU DONT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS ONE.

i think i have like 5 or 6 people that want to go and i want to know if there are going to be any game on saturday of zombie

At house I meant to click the plus sign but accidentally clicked the minus but very good ideas. Except for the zombies with guns and vehicles, that just takes away the whole feeling of "ZOMBIES"
And I prefer dropzone because there are those house in the forest n stuff, it could be like resident evil or something. Woodlands is really open

Guys I got word that Delta will be having a haunted house on Friday and Saturday. I think we should go play on saturday night and have some Zombies chasing after us...I know I can have SMOKE MACHINES and ZOMBIES all around us. Let me get more info.

But for now I think you guys should add what you think.

Is the Zombie Op Still On?

Thats what I mean I think we should have it there cuz it will be easier to set up. If we dont have enough people at woodlands it will be boring. In this case we can get more people just to act the part of the ZOMBIES.

Its my opinion post up if you agree or still want to plan something bigger.

we have over 20 players that want to play but we havent posted a place .. and time .. hey kal i might have to work this weekend again. Are you going to run the show this weekend. please post up who all is going and how many will be joining your party to plan accordingly .. like always the more the better. many players like woodlands do the fact that it has plenty room to run and hide plus many cover to rest and reload. any other captain that would like to help feel free to jump in.

spoke to kal this morning he said he could run the game at delta after 7 if you all want to attend..if any of you want to play during the morning post up so we can see what we can do.. also if any captain wants to step forward and run the morning game now is your chance. we have several players that want to play just need a game going dont have to be a zombie op any game will do. post up i might have to work this week end so might not be able to make it.

I will be at delta as soon as I can lets go see if we can make something happen. Those who are playing make sure to bring face gear extra like a zombie or skull mask just incase we make a game that requires switching roles.
