What is a great gun for the field not to sure about airsoft but ask me about any ar or ak ill know almost anything

is electric the most used on field or are there c02 powered rifles?

Electric is your best bet unless you got the money to buy gas for gas rifles. Besides battery powered is the way to go in terms reliability. Gas will give you some O-ring trouble and you'd have to be cleaning it constantly (I'd imagine). For the most part, the AEG is what you're looking for because theyre reliable and plus you can add an extra battery pack for a backup.

What u need to figure out first is the rules to what fps. Read the Airsoft rules for our community.

I found this is this what I need to go by

AEG - 1.49J (400fps with .20)bb mass____FPS 0.20g_______400 0.25g_______358 MACHINE GUNS - 1.80J (450fps with .20)bb mass____FPS 0.20g_______450 0.25g_______386 SNIPER - 2.81J (550fps with .20)bb mass____FPS 0.20g_______550 0.25g_______492 INDOOR LIMITS: ALL GUNS - 1.01J (330fps with .20)bb mass____FPS 0.20g_______330 0.25g_______295

Depends what team your trying to join.

oh ok that i did not know how do u find out who is having a tryout?

If you go under teams, they mostly have info on what they run. If your interested just send them a question or two on that link.

For example, our team runs: HK 416 and ACR or if your into other possitions you must still run US style guns.

That means no AK or MP5's

Some teams dont have rules or regulations so just ask around.
