That sucks, and how much were they charging you to fix the hopup? How bad was the defect? I mean Hopup issues are usually pretty simple if not cheap to replace.

I think you need to find someone who generally buys,plays,fixes kings arms products especially with a chicago typewriter. I'm only good with kjw and kjw products that I know the insides and outsides of it. Best of luck with your gun man , i know it's a pain but hang in there and hopefully you get that gun to work.

That sucks man, at that point it's pretty much better to get another one after all those fees. If you ever need help me and King Six are pretty decent techs, though neither of us has worked on a Thompson I have found it rather easy to learn tricks for unique guns through youtube to do my own custom work. If they get it back to you still messed up just hit us up and we should be able to help. I'm more a V.3 gearbox(aks) and bolt action person but I've tinkered with different things as well.
