Enough with the BS but what the hell is going on with our great sport. Its time we start changing things around.

At one point in time we couldn't do anything with out someone stopping us and asking us were is the waivers or insurance or what does the money go too. Now there is no one to play with or even want to get an op going. I think its time we crawled from under the rock we have been sleeping on and start getting are game back on track.

Start buying ammo and new gear people cuz we are setting up for an OP.
And we are going to make sure its a dam big one.

Clear your schedules early because we will need everyone corporation.

I think 2 weeks is enough time to jump start this community.

On NOV. 17 2012 we will be hosting on OP at the DROPZONE in MCALLEN TX no need for waivers no need for charging if we decide to charge it will be to re-fuel are stomachs or vehicles.

I want everyone, Cpts, Generals, Janitors, to show there support.
Its time to see the BIG BOYS come out and play.

This is even a challenge to fallen or forgotten teams out there.
WE WANT TO PLAY, COME OUT, COME OUT WHERE EVER YOU ARE.

Honestly I think we might need more time for this. Mainly to flesh out background for the game and setting up the objectives. (That way no one is confused on what to do.) In order for OP to work we also need admins to volunteer to keep track of the game's progress. I don't want to sound negative, on the contrary, I wanted to pitch ideas for this game. For one, we could try a RISK style game where people have their bases and try to take over other bases and spread their empire. Another game could be objective based but not linear. like you guys have a bunch of objectives with time limits and each one is worth certain points but once again this is where admins are very important. I'm just saying we should do this right if we are gonna do it (maybe invite people from up north if possible).

P.S. I'm not too sure on the dates but some teams are going up north this month to go to the Commando Challenge and Turkey Trot so I'm not sure if those teams will be joining us for the game.

Im in. I will see if some of my old team can make it out.

I think that the "RISK" theme is a great idea for a game. Like chingos of capture the flag games going on at one time.

I've been waiting for an OP. I'm in. Can't wait to hear what our story/objectives/game is gonna be.

I don't know what the decision for the game theme is, but if we do go with the RISK theme, each team should bring their own flag(s) that will be put up once the team has taken over the territory. Also set up which locations will have what perks (vehicles, ammo, extra infantry, etc.) As for objectives, I'm not too sure what to do for that unless you guys want to do something like total domination. I think we can come up with pretty cool scenarios IF we have more time though. Maybe we can get the Brownsville and Kingsville guys to join up if we give them a better heads up.

I want to make it clear...this OP is straight up for fun.
The best MILSUM SKIRM in the RGV.

Nothing against letting up north guys come down and join us, but the real deal is that we have depended on those people in the past. And we can not keep on waiting around for other community to hold our hands and guide us around as if we where babies.

We all are grown men that love this sport and must take a stand and push forward in our own community and city.

This for everyone to see how fast we can unite in a situation of this magnitude.

BTW this is now a AIRSOFT COMMUNITY EVENT...This is not a TCA, USJTF, TASO, or BADCO.
This is just to recruit new players and give them a reason to want to be apart of our great game.

We have already come up with somethings but what we want next is for people to start recruiting for there factions.

jajajjaja ok got it. On the other hand i agree with you Kal. I was never up for people outside our community come and make decisions for Us, this is the RGV and we live here so we are the ones who decide how we play and what rules we follow, it makes no sense to play by rules from people that are not even here to play with us. So i am for our own rules not anybody elses!

The OP is for all Airsoft communies .. Thats why the rules should be rules that have been in the airsoft community since it started.. These rules are safety rules ment to protect the players , and the airsoft community. That way there wont be conflict and misunderstanding . Making up your own rules as you go, just dont work , thats when problems start and end up in conflicts.. . Just saying, this could be a great OP but rules are there for everyones safety.

So what will the rules be for this event so that everyone is on the same page before the event?

This op will have no issues with rules. That's not what argument I'm trying to get across. I'm saying that I will no longer wait for other people to join us just to make this event happen. It will happen and it will be one of the best event the RGV will ever have.

So stop looking at the little things and start focusing on the real issues. Get your men ready and will trained for thus event. This is gonna be hard on everyone. Bring plenty of water. By Tuesday the faction forums will be up.

Operation Resurgence sounds good simply because everyone has been out of the loop for some time now. Since this is going to be a big op what better name for it than something that means rising back to life. There are several definitions that can be found such as a continuing after interuption, a renewal, a restoration to use, but in the end it means the same thing. Hopefully this op will start things up again like they use to be. .......SSD
